Hanging silver earrings Moon Goddess. Height: 48 mm. Weight: 13 g. On their trade journeys to the east, the Vikings stopped at the Finnish coast to exchange weapons and jewelry for skins. To the Viking influence on jewelry making, the Finns added a distinctly Finnish style. This jewelry inspired later designers to create jewelry that captures the spirit of the Vikings. Moon Goddess was designed in the 1940s by Germund Paaer based on some of the Vikings' most beautiful ornaments.
